Girl Is Bullied On The Bus, Then She Finds Mom’s Nice Notes About Her On Mirror And Reads Them

It’s not uncommon for kids to be bullied in school. They can be teased for anything from their size to the shape of their nose, but none of it is acceptable. Bullying can really damage a child’s self-esteem and confidence, so he or she needs to be reminded that there is nothing wrong with them!

That’s exactly what one mom did when she heard that her daughter was being bullied on the bus because of the color of her skin.

She and the little girl decided to do a little activity: together, they wrote down every one of the little girl’s good qualities on Post-its and stuck them to her mirror.

In the clip below, the daughter reads them out loud for the camera. The notes say things like, “I am smart,” “I am funny,” and “I am vibrant.”

The notes were stuck to the mirror so that the girl can remind herself that she is not what her bullies say. She can walk out of the door every morning full of confidence! In this footage, she definitely looks like she’s ready to take on the bullies.

We think this is an awesome way to teach a child self-love, don’t you? Any parent can do this with their child!

Please SHARE this clip with other parents you know, and you may inspire their kids to believe in themselves just like this girl!
