Police Lights Flash Behind Toddler In Toy Car, Then Officer Charges Him With Cute Crime

Knock on wood, but I have never been pulled over by a police officer.

Even though I’ve been driving for about four years now, I have somehow managed to avoid those flashing blue lights and the large fee that usually follows them. I’m still absolutely terrified of the day that happens, so I can’t even imagine how this little boy was feeling when he was pulled over.

Officer Ryan of Fort Collins Police in Colorado, noticed a little tyke heading down the road in a Ford F-150 Power Wheels truck — a motorized, kid-sized toy car made for toddlers. Then, he turned on his lights and pulled him over.

The cute kid waited patiently in his car while Officer Ryan made his way over. If I were him, my heart would have been hammering, but he kept his cool.

Officer Ryan told the driver he’d “recently received a report of reckless adorability,” and charged the cutie with the crime. His payment was one high-five to the officer.

Finally, Officer Ryan let the little driver check out his own cool police vehicle, while he admired the tot’s “sweet truck.”

Officer Ryan wished him a good night, and the adorable driver pulled away from the scene safely. He handled getting pulled over way better than I ever would!
