Losing your wallet can definitely ruin your day. When almost everything that’s important gets in the hands of another, there’s no telling what damage can be done with all kinds of sensitive information and materials like debit or credit cards and IDs.
That was the nightmare one 16-year-old girl had to endure when she had accidentally left her wallet on the back of a bus.
Stephanie King went to parents crying, naively but hopefully asking if she would get it back. Her parents were not positive that it would be returned, but little did they know that it was already in the hands of a stranger.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Baxter Perkins had just boarded the same bus and went all the way to the back to find a seat. That’s when he saw the wallet.
The teen didn’t hesitate to try to find a way to get it back to its owner. He saw the owner’s address and traveled all the way to her front door. When there was no one home, he waited until someone arrived — and that’s when he met Stephanie’s mom.
The mother was understandably perplexed as to why there was a tall male stranger waiting for her teen daughter, but when she saw what he had in his hand, she couldn’t help but be relieved. This young man had gone out of his way to return her daughter’s wallet!
She snapped a few photos of the two and praised Baxter in a post that quickly went viral.
Please SHARE if you know this young man’s good deed has earned him good fortune and karma in the future!
